Mr. Eide has led the development, planning and construction of healthcare facilities for more than thirty years. His extensive healthcare portfolio includes projects completed for Scott & White Memorial Hospital, St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Bill has published several articles on healthcare for JCAHO, and was the sole registered architect on the Committee for New Radiation Protection Guidelines.
In addition Bill has been a speaker at many healthcare symposiums, national conventions and directed programs for the American Institute of Architects' Architecture for Health Committee. Bill routinely delivers high quality projects that are under budget and on time. Bill's team leadership has resulted in savings of millions of dollars for large hospital projects without sacrificing program or function. Bill is currently planning a country home, vineyard, and winery that when completed will be "off the grid." Current design incorporates solar power, rainwater harvesting, and wind power.
